Q1. Firstly, tell me something about yourself?
A. I am very simple guy who believes in love & destiny. I keep some scientific, philosophical & mythological approaches about many aspects of life and nature’s secrets. I like swimming, acting, cooking, movies, night-out, travelling and chatting with people & one more thing about me I love astrophysics.
Q2. How long have you been writing?
A. Actually, I started my writing in the form of a personal diary, when I was in the final year, in which I described all the cases happened with me in around 40 pages, just only to prove my innocence to Shruti but I failed, she was not ready to hear me then I took a further step and convert that diary into a script of the dreamer. It was my first attempt of writing otherwise before it, I didn’t write a single line.
Q3. What kind of writer would you describe yourself as?
A. The writer is a very big word & designation for me, I don’t consider myself as an author.
Q4. Tell me something about your book? Why did you choose “Dreamer” as your book title?
A. Whether it’s a love story, but it represents the madness of love upto extremes upto which a teenager or anyone can reach. Its not a only a love story, it's much more than that. I could not pen down the hidden emotions, the actual feelings behind every single line of it.
b. I could not find any other title that could represent the helplessness of a person, who faced such type of situations, struggles and at the end he left with nothing. The title also could be “A dreamer” but there is a lot of difference between ‘A’ & ‘ The ’
Q5. Is it a real story? Tell me if it will be read by the real character how will you feel. Do you want she should come into your life?
A. Yeah its my real story. Every single line, every single emotion, described in this script is true and pure.
B. If I tell you the truth, none of my friend Vaibhav, Vijay wants to read this story as it’s a story of my failure, my madness. And if I talk about Shruti, my princess… she has already read the script long before. When she was reading the script she used to ask me ‘Esa such me hua tha kya, aap waha gaye the kya, auto sach me ruka tha kya, apne meri ice-cream ka bill sach me pay kiya tha kya etc etc’ and when she completed the entire script, she said one thing “it not was your fault… you were right” and a tear rolled down from my eyes.
C. Yes, I need her in my life more than me.
Q6. Do you have any websites and or book links that you would like to share?
A.. Right now I don’t have any website. But here are some links of dreamer and my fan page.
Q7. What are your future goals with your writing?
A.. I haven’t planned for anything.
Q8. Tell me something about your journey with the publisher?
A. Journey with ‘Leadstart’ was good, but not as much I expected. It was really very difficult task for me to publish dreamer.
Q9.. I would like to know the source of your inspiration behind the book.?
A. Inspiration is a very heavy word. There was nothing like inspiration, it's only been my helplessness that forced me to write. But If I want to define my inspiration, then its Shruti and my speechless love for her.
Q10. Are you planning to write your second book? What will be its genre?
A. I have thought one more plot, that will be based on the life of a woman, but don’t know when I will be able to pen it down.
Q12. What books and Authors influenced your writings?
A. I am sorry to say this, but no one.
Q13. Since it is your debut book. How did you feel when you received your first copy of your published book?
A. If I tell you the truth, I was scared that day because as I entered in my home after taking a courier my mom asked me, “
Kiska courier aaya he tera?” but some how I managed to hide that copy from her, because up to that time she didn’t know ‘I have written a novel’. After reaching into my room, I took out that copy from the envelope. It was really beautiful, but it had some errors of spaces and some grammatical mistakes, but just because of Shruti, I sent the approval of that copy because I was already late.
Today, people keep that thing as a drawback of the dreamer.
Q14. How are you promoting your book?
A. By reaching bookstores, colleges, contacting bloggers, fan pages, blogs.
Q15. How are you planning reviews for your book?
A. I haven’t planned anything for it.
Q16. Finally, what you want to say to the readers?
A. I only want to say one thing, if you love someone in your life, then express your feelings to him/ her, without any wait otherwise it could lead to a ban of new Dreamer in the future.
