Review: “You, Me N Zindagi” is again an Anthology of 12 Authors which is compiled by Author Harpreet Makkar and Aparajita Dutta. It deals with life, relationship and addiction. The cover and title of the book is simple which clearly speaks about human emotions. The blurb also talks about relationship, friendship. Struggles, and experiences. It is a nice blurb which does justice to the book.
Story 1. “The Second life” By Harpreet Makkar : the story of a woman is very beautifully narrated by the Author. It is an emotional story with an impressive end. A nice and simple read.
Story 2. “Time Flies and Love Stays” By Nehali Lalwani: A Story of a past with full of love and some unsaid emotions which really touched the heart of readers. The starting was really beautifully narrated and the climax was predictable, but was a bit emotional.
Story3. “Peregrination” By Aparajita Dutta: The story about two lovers who is deeply in love with each other, but circumstance playing an important role in their relationship. Very beautifully narrated by the author with nice vocabulary. But the end was incomplete wanted some to the story and also there was some editing mistake.
Story4: “Maya” By Swagnikaa Roy: A story of a young girl who is now a grown up woman, but suffered a lot of abuse during the past. The story was simple but with a meaning. The child sexual abuse is very common these days. This story could have been handled in a better manner. Some flow was missing in the story. Overall an average story.
Story5 “Just Stay by My side” By Shalini Katyal: I really liked the title of the story. One always want from their spouse to stay by their side no matter what happens in their relationship. Very nicely narrated with some beautiful conversation. This story is the reality of life which everyone faces in their relationship. Overall a very good story and I really enjoyed reading it.
Story6: “Love will find you” By Nilesh Gowardhan: The story of a girl and boy who met and fall in love with each other. There was no fresh concept. It was a simple romantic story. It’s a true fact Love always finds you, One doesn’t need to search for love. A good read.
Story7: “A Story of Revenge” By Ila Garg.. A very interesting tale about a son taking revenge for his father. A nice suspense thriller which makes you speechless in the end. I wanted some more suspense from this story, Yet it marked an impact on me as a reader. A good story.
Story8: “Why Smoke Cigarettes When there’s oxygen” By Abhijit Dahegaonkar: It is a lesson for every smoker that cigarette is injurious to health. The story was not edited properly. It lacked interest.
Story9: “The man Of wisdom” By Subhnail Banerjee: A reality of life narrated in the story. Sometimes Circumstances take you into the wrong path. Again the story lacked interest due to editing mistakes. The story was nice but lacked in emotions.
Story 10: “I Can Never Forgive You” By Purnendu Chatterjee: A story about terrorism and Politics who don’t want to see the country prosper. Some people were behind the mask playing the dirty game. The starting was beautifully narrated and the suspense will make you shocked, but again this story also needs editing. There were lots of mistakes.
Story 11: “Silent Beckons” By Souvick Mukherjee… A very beautiful story with a wonderful meaning. A man suddenly met a girl during his vacation and it changed his life meaning. A story based on humanity and kindness and people should learn from this story. A good read.
Story 12: “Papa” By Pulkit Gupta: A very beautiful story based on emotions and relationship. A nicely narrated. I really enjoyed reading this story and a perfect end to the Anthology. The end was wonderful. All the emotions were wonderfully mentioned. A nice read.
It was an average Anthology with a lot of editing mistakes. Few stories really written well like 2nd, 5th 11th and 12th. Overall a nice attempt by the young writers, but some of the stories needs attention. Good luck to all the authors.
