Director: Sohil Khan
Cast: ☆☆ ½ A movie which was just like a cartoon film without any story. It was movie just for Salman Khan Fans. This movie is not worth watching. It was meaningless.
About the movie: Jai ( Khan) is an ex-Army ‘aam aadmi’ who wants to propagate the power of three. Do good, and tell the recipient of the deed to spread the word among three people, and those three to three more, and so on. It is not even original, because the film is a remake of the Chiranjeevi-starrer ‘Stalin’. ‘Jai Ho’ has the loose, scattered quality of bad South remakes, and it doesn’t help that the Bhai’s love interest ( Daisy Shah) is singularly uninspiring, whose only performing asset is her very flexible waist.
Review: Honestly speaking Salman Khan had disappointed his fans by making such a ridiculous movie without any story concept. There were so many actors in this movie, which are either having no work or our Salman khan friends as they had nothing to do in the movie. They were just creating confusion to the audience. The songs were good specially Title song, but it was shown in the End. Danny could have taken the movie on his shoulders, If he had got enough footage in the movie. There were intolerable scenes of a Physically challenged girl, just a notch above a poor auto-wala’ who is doing well to by a stubbly drunk, and a little girl with a wooden arm. It’s enough to make a grown man cry, which our hero does. Thrice, in case you were counting. All kinds of incomprehensible things happen in the story, including Tabu showing up as Salman Khan’s Sister, Sunil Shetty pops up giving a lecture on patriotism and coming up with a Tank and then disappears suddenly. Jai ho’s Thank you dialogue was just like selling Amway Products. It also didn’t take attention of the Audience. Even Salman’s Shirt Off moment is not Jai Ho’s money Shot. In some scenes Salman Khan was looking Fat and in another lean, this was totally unprofessional. It was simply a waste of money. If you are die hard fan of Salman Khan then only go and watch the movie without any expectation.
