Director: Meghna Gulzar
Cast: Konkana Sen Sharma, Neeraj Kabi, Irfan Khan
Verdict: ☆☆☆☆ A very nice movie based on real life Murder case of Arushi Talval. Well scripted and wonderful Acting. This movie will make you speechless and you will understand the facts behind the Murder.
About the movie: Talvar is a fictional dramatization of true life events revolving around the Aarushi Talvar murder case investigation. Known as the 'Noida Double Murder Case', it happened in the city adjoining India's capital, Delhi, in 2008. The incident still resonates in the minds of the public, as there is no sense of closure in the case in spite of a guilty verdict - the parents of the murdered girl have been sentenced to life for killing her. This thriller is a work of fiction which is based on one if the most intriguing and talked about murder cases in recent Indian history.
Review: Talvar is based on real live murder of Aarushi Talvar and his parents Dr Rajesh and Nupur are in jail for the murder of their only daughter. This movie is really difficult to watch when we got to see the reality on big screen that appeared in reality in jalvayu Vihar of Noida. The Police Procedure as they failed to investigate properly and the joint conversation which was professional rivalry between Two CBI team was totally make you stand from the team. This shows that how irresponsible our Police department is. How can parents kill their daughter. I really hope after watching this movie our department take initiative to solve this case with proper concentration. I really liked Irfan Khan and his way of solving the case. The best part was professional rivalry between two CBi teams. It was brilliant writing by Vishal Bhardwaj. All the characters played their part well and were interesting to watch. I also liked Belwadi Officer who was on the verge of retirement and handed over the case to Irfhan Khan. Tabu was also treat to watch. Media had also played their part well in the movie. Overall A nice movie to watch to know the in and out reality of the case. Megna Gulzar’s direction was good. After so many flops in a row she gave a good movie for the viewers to watch.
