Review: First look of the cover is simple. The title “Half Girlfriend” Really make you inquisitive to read the book as why the Author had chosen this title. After reading this book, your inquisitiveness get over. There is nothing new in this book. It is typical Chetan Bhagat’s book, just like a movie script and I am sure Chetan had already decided to make it into a Bollywood movie. The Book was divided into three parts and each part is in different Cities. The first part was in Delhi, which is interesting and Romantic. The relationship between Riya and Madhav and their friendship will hold you completely towards reading the book. The second part was in Bihar with some twists and turn and some part were unrealistic and boring. I really liked the speech which Madhav had spoken in English in front of Bill Gates. That was a treat to read. The last part of the book was dragged completely. There were some irrelevant pages which appeared to me boring and it can be avoided. The End was predictable and nothing new. It is good for a one time read and Recommended to those who love to read light fiction and are die-hard Chetan Bhagat fans… After reading this book, I was wondering which Actor and Actress will be best suited for the role of the main protagonist. All the best Author…
Drawback: The book was dragged too much which appeared to me irrelevant. Apart from the concept of “Half Girlfriend” there was nothing new in the story….The end should be more exciting.
