About The Editor: Neelam Saxena Chandra is an engineer by profession. She works as an officer with Indian Railways. Writing poetry and fiction is her passion. More than six hundred of her stories/poems have been published in various leading Indian as well as international magazines/journals/anthologies. She has published fourteen books including two novels, one novella, one short story collection, six poetry collections and four collections of children's stories. The first five stories written by Neelam Saxena Chandra was well written and wonderful start of the Anthology. The first story “A Daunting Journey Indeed” Nicely tell about the journey of Priyanka and how he tackles her experience in office after his husband’s Death. It’s very tough for a widow to search for a job in a men’s dominated world..
We shall Overcome Someday is another story of a girl Siya who stood against the male dominated society. It is penned down nicely. All emotions were well described.
The feeble Voice was wonderfully written about a girl Abha and the way she had wisely made his family understand that a woman can manage both work and home intelligently and society cannot let the women confined to the home only.
The solitude of life’s eve is also a nice story about a single mother who, despite being Ill manage the house effectively. I enjoyed reading the character of Dhanashree.
The Chain of Love is also well written about a girl who strongly manage her work alone in Mumbai with a beautiful ending.
The Beginning written by Vivek Banerjee is wonderfully narrated. It is the story about a young doctor and her feelings while conducting the first surgery. The emotions of Sonali Chatterjee were well portrayed by the Author. The ending was beautiful.
One Big Mistake by Rochak Bhatnagar is also an interesting read. Office Politics are always there in the corporate sector and there is always a rivalry between college despite being good friends. This is what explained by the author and Anvita’s character as a strong woman was well written.
The Eternal Middle by Bhavya Kaushik and Shruti Fatepuria is a beautiful story of a girl searching for a story. I loved reading it specially the climax was well written with full emotions.
Is Anybody Listening by Ruchhita Kazaria. This story deals with daily problems women face in the office. The poem was well written with a beautiful ending. Preeti’s character was nicely portrayed.
Hand that rocks the cradle by Paulami Duttagupta: This story is wonderfully written by the writer. A story of a woman named Parvati and difficulties faced by her in daily household activities and the way she had handled the problems were nicely explained. The emotions were clearly depicted specially in the end.
Parallel World by Megha Sumant Sharma is also an interesting story. It is a story of woman Vaidehi who handled both pregnancy and career effectively without the help of her husband. I loved the story. The emotions were blended well by the writer. The end was nice again. The poem was beautifully written.
Predators by Renuka Vishwanathan: A well written story by the author which made me happy after reading the story. It’s true, there are many Predators in the office which are always after the woman and the way Ruchi had handled them in the story was truly a nice job. Every woman must read the story and Every man should be Beware!!
End Game By Rafaa Dalvi: It is also an Interesting read with Nice words and narration.
Arundhati By Ayan Pal: This story is also nicely written. It is a story about Young woman Arundhati and the issues faced by her in office. There is always a filthy mindset of men towards women, which is shown in this story and the way Arundhati had handled it was commendable.
What By Subhasis Das: I started liking his writing style as I have read many stories from this author. This story is also well written about the life of the maid and the way she wanted to educate her daughter. The end will surely touch your heart.
A letter to the world by Khushi Gupta… This is another story which touched my heart. A well written story of a young women who had to pay a heavy price of her soul for being a woman. A wonderfully narrated. The end made me cry.
Barren Oasis By Smriti Mahale: An emotional story of a young Doctor Tanya. It was beautifully written. The strongness of a woman in spite of so much difficulty was nicely portrayed.
Trigonometry Of Codes By Snigdha Gharami: This is the first story I have read by the Author and I am impressed by her imagination and writing style. A wonderful and interesting story and fact of life.
Her Mistake by Surbhi Thukral: It is a light hearted story and a nice read. I enjoyed reading Swati’s character. The emotions were nicely expressed.
Let Her Die by Priyanshu Saxena: A very emotional story. Nicely expressed. Euthanasia is most common term used these days and tough to recommend. The court argument was nicely narrated. Enjoyed reading it.
Beyond the shallow Realm By Warishree Pant: Again a wonderful story and the true problem faced by women in the office. If a woman succeeds in her job people take it in the wrong sense. I loved reading Ayesha’s character and they way she had handled the situation was commendable.
Au Revoir By Amrit Sinha: Au revoir is a French word which means goodby!! And that is what explained by the author with an emotional touch. The story was simple and again a tragic issue faced by women. Well narrated story.
GrihaLaxshmi By Nehali Lalwani and Siddharth Yadav: It is true woman our Laxmi of the house and generate wealth and prosperity. Still, people hate them and they discriminate them on the basis of gender. It was a very emotional story and the end touched me completely.
Her’s Story By Ruchi Chopra. A perfect ending to the book. True, one should respect women and not kill them in the womb. I love the poem Respect. Every woman should have rights to work and get herself educated..
I as a reader appreciate the team for a wonderful initiative. A woman should be respected and I am sure all, the man who disrespects a woman will realize their mistake after reading this book.
