Publisher: Ramana Printers (Self Publishing)
Verdict: ☆☆☆☆ ½ A beautiful and Banal concept which will hold all the readers till the end. A well narrated book. Each and every chapter will teach you an important lesson. A must read.
About The Author: Srinivas Yanamandra currently working with a private sector bank and is a chartered accountant, cost accountant, certified and money laundering specialist(USA) and a member of the international compliance association (UK). He has a flare in writing and was inspired by Chetan Bhagat and Ravi Subramanian for writing fiction. I love you Vishwamithra is his Second Novel.
About The Book: Several centuries ago, it was Viswamithra, the great sage who was distracted by Menaka while he was performing a fierce penance. Menaka, commissioned by Indra, provoked him to pursue the demands of his senses. Thereafter, his yogic powers were depleted.
Several decades ago, it was Pradyumna, the great artist who was distracted by the beautiful princess, Sucharita Devi. He was working on a beautiful painting of Viswamithra and Menaka. Thereafter, not only he but his painting vanished from history.
Now, in the Twenty-First century, Rishi, a Swiss-Banker, set on an ambitious project to pursue his business with Mahendra, a corporate icon. His two other pursuits are to win the heart of his lady love, Snigdha and to know the whereabouts of his dream destination - Viswamithra's painting. All seems to be going fine till Apsara, a beautiful art dealer of the city, enters his life.
Can Apsara, the modern beauty, distract Rishi from his project, as Snigdha fears? Will Viswamithra's painting prove to be as unfortunate for Rishi as it was for Pradyumna?
Read I Love You, Viswamithra for interesting answers to these questions amidst twists and turns set in the world of Swiss banking and black money. It is not an ordinary tale about colors of painting, but a true reflection of colors of people in life.
Review: Hakuna Matata was Srinivas first book and after reading it, I was impressed by his writing style that I asked him to send across his second book. “I love You Viswamithra” is his Second book and it is more interesting than the first book. It deals with Paintings of Viswamithra and Menka . Every part of the story was interesting. The Author had named the chapters as colors and each color had its own importance which was the highlight of the story. He had also explained to us some of the facts like wine testing, mixing and significance of colors and about the Art exhibition and auction. I really enjoyed reading every part of it. It also had humor in it. The last part of the story really took me into surprise with its unique suspense. I could not stop myself without finishing the whole book. I was so involved with the book that I left all the work to be finished after completing the whole book. The climax was really an enjoyable read. Snigdha and Ravi’s character was really very well portrayed by the Author. The Blurb about the book was sweet an interesting clearly explain the concept of the story. And the cover having viswamithra and Menka’s painting was really nice. I truly loved the Title which Author had explained in the end. We can Indulge in all Pleasures that we may cherish for a while; but don’t immerse in them that we may perish for the lifetime. I love you Viswamithra” Said by Rishi was true in all aspects. Overall an enjoyable read with very important facts and lesson of life. Everyone should read.
