About The Book: The Purple Moon' is a collection of a hundred poems which emote the different sentiments and phases of love. What really is love? It is a feeling most difficult to define; it is a sentiment, to be felt, smelled, drunk and tasted - for it is the most subtle emotion. , When one is in love for the first time, many raw feelings enwrap him or her. One may just be crazy, have a simple desire to meet the sweetheart or may just feel something very divine...On the other hand, there are chances of one getting annoyed, developing jealousy and hatred and may end up doing random acts. However, as love matures, the feelings also mature and it is then that the lovers realize that love is something more than just these raw feelings. Love brings out the deepest of emotions and is the purest of all feelings. True love makes one fly, giving the person in love a pair of wings, making one expand one's horizons. 'The Purple Moon' is a treat to all those who have ever experienced love.
Review: “The Purple moon”, the name itself makes you attracted towards this book which is the significance of love. The cover is soothing and pleasing. It is a collection of 100 poems each signifies love. I as a reader fell in love with Neelam mam’s writing style. Each poem is simple and full of love. Those who are in love or have experienced love will surely relate to the poems. Every poem is filled with emotions, pain, heart full of love. First time in my life I have read poems which touched my soul as a reader. All the poems were best, but still some of them touched me completely. I would say it’s a treat to read Neelam mam’s poems for all poetry lovers. I would love to share one of her poem….
Flavours Of Love
Yeah,
Love is an exquisite dish
And it comes
In various flavors,
It is sweet
When it arrives
And the realization dawns
Of being in Love.
It has an aromatic essence
When it climbs charts
With the blissful presence
Of Love
In every moment of togetherness.
It is sour
When there are clashes and conflicts
And when one of the partner is upset
And the other tries to please.
It is bitter
When the disputes
Become unendurable
And there is a halt.
However,
With a little adjustments and undertakings,
Love is
As dear as salt.
All the best Neelam mam. Keep writing. I would love to read more from this Author.
